Service Description

Enjoy a sound bath in the sanctuary of the beautiful Grace-Westminster United Church. Located in the heart of Nutana, built in 1910, the sanctuary of Grace-Westminster features stunning architecture and superior acoustics which set the stage for a wonderful sound bath location! The sanctuary has a more intimate feel to it which will help you to enjoy the different vibrations and sounds from the instruments. This hour long sound bath will include crystal singing bowls tuned to 432hz, the heart beat of the earth, to help ground you. Darren will intuitively play a song for the group based on the collective energy. You will also hear other supportive instruments such as chimes, drums, a rain stick and shruti box, all tuned to an element or chakra. The sounds and vibrations from the song that is played will send you to a place of deep relaxation. If you have had difficulty in the past getting into a mediative state, the sound bath will help get you there at a quicker pace. You will not be verbally guided through a meditation, however Darren will send you on a journey through the various sounds, rhythms and tempo of the sound bath. This admission is to enjoy the sound bath at the front of the sanctuary in the open area. Please bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket and anything else you may need for your comfort. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the sound bath.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation, Rescheduling of Services or No-Show Client: Fees paid are non-refundable regardless of circumstance or cancellation at any point. Rescheduling: Sound and the City Sound Baths are non transferrable to other sound baths. Please arrive 10 minutes early, as late entry will not be permitted
